Message I've ran 15* and 17* on 93. At the track I couldn't believe how terribly the car performed. Above 3500rpms the vibrations were unpleasant. I can only rule it out to possible detonation. But I was only running 9psi.....

Even worse, I couldn't get the tires to spin, there was little throttle response, and little power until boost at 4-5k.

I adjusted the cas down to 13*, and now I have traction issues, even out of boost, now 14lbs, MBC. Again, the procedure to set the timing on Z32's is quite different than most cars, so I ensured it was always correctly set. Not sure why JWT recommends 13*, but the difference is astounding. This is on a wide range of plugs/gaps aswell.

At 15*, I did a few isolated highway pulls against a tuned 13' SHO. He put a bus length on me, consistently. 30 roll

Adjusted tps from 0.47 to 0.41, and timing down to 13*, and put about 3 car lengths consistently on him. 30 roll.

Boost comes on much stronger and quicker. Again, either detonation, or something wasn't right when set to 15-17*.

I had finely marked the 13*/15*/17* spot on the CAS, so I know the readings are relatively accurate.

The o2's are the OE NTK's IIRC. Replaced last year.
